When you choose a life partner, you’re not just choosing a husband, you're choosing the father of your future children. I carry that truth deeply in my heart, and I’m so grateful for the man I chose.
Growing up I always wished for a healthy father daughter relationship one filled with love, presence, and protection. I made a promise to myself that one day, my children would experience what I never had. That promise guided me.
When I left Canada and moved to the U.S. to be with the love of my life it wasn’t just about romance it was a leap of faith rooted in something bigger. I saw in him a man who would show up, love fiercely, and break cycles with me. I didn’t just dream of a good man I chose one. And watching him love, nurture, and protect our kids every single day is the most beautiful confirmation that I made the right choice.
He is the father I prayed for, not for me, but for them.
