A man was building a custom brick flower bed for his client. But before that, he had to create a solid concrete base, so he started by filling a pre-dug hole with a shovel.
While setting the base, he added rebar in the middle—something many people would say isn’t necessary for such a small concrete job.
Once the base was ready, he began laying bricks for the sides, using mortar to hold them in place.
Interestingly, the client paid an extra $700 just for the added rebar.
But now the question is—was it really worth the cost?
