
A excellent western swing instrumental recorded by the North Carolin western swing guitarist and singer Claude Casey with his group the Pine State Playboys, featuring and amazing proto-rock n' roll electric guitar work by the guitarist Gilbert Young (the instrumental was named after him), who was highly influenced by Charlie Christian and some licks resemble to T-Bone Walker (who didn't record with electric guitar until 1942, few months after this was recorded) and Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith, and a bit to rock n' roll hit "Rock Around the Clock" (1954) by Bill Haley.
