
I also noticed that the mosfet on the "brute force balancer" had popped so more wracking on the ol' inverter led to the first device harvest. It's full of IRFZ44N's (these can pass 49 amps & dissipate 100+ watts) so that's gonna be a whole lot of mosfetty fun! lol
If I didn't have those tails I would have had to make some using *four* lugs that I have in stock (as they are smaller and would only take one wire each of this gauge), so that's a saving of $5NZD approx right there. And an equivalent mosfet would have also cost around $5NZD from Jaycar. So effectively I already have back $10NZD, which half of the $20NZD I paid for the inverter!
