Fourth quarantine video release! With this song, Triddana took their Celtic Metal sounds to the Stay Home Edition of “Odin’s Krieger Fest”, broadcasted on June 5th of this year.

Odin’s Krieger Fest, an amazing folk metal festival hosted in several cities of Brazil, had to postpone this year’s event (featuring Triddana and The Hu – Mongolian Hunnu rock band and recent revelation) to December due to the COVID crisis, but in the meantime managed to create for their fans a streaming edition which hosted a marvelous mix of Irish pub songs, Celtic folk, Medieval music and Pagan Metal!

We were very excited to participate in this show and were left totally thrilled about stepping on Brazilian land for our first shows ever in some months!

If you want to check the full broadcast, here it is:

As you surely know, on the original song Pablo plays his Highland bagpipes, but for this lockdown version he’s using a "Practice chanter". This is a supplementary instrument mostly used for practice, usually for new tunes or for people who learn to play the bagpipes.

Typical practice chanters are not usually much suited for performing, but here Pablo is playing a model made in Guayacan wood and manufactured by ProFlow bagpipes (made in Argentina!), which as you can see has a truly beautiful sound, similar to a smallpipe chanter. You can check ProFlow's site and their handcrafted instruments right here: .

Juan José Fornés: Vocals and guitars
Pablo Allen: Highland bagpipes and Irish tin whistle
Diego Rodríguez: Bass
Joaquín Franco: Drums
