Here, we take you backstage and beyond as we get to know the artists who joined us and explore Sydney during, as our guests explain, a period of rejuvenation and creative expression. As Mixed Methods puts it, it’s an exciting time to be playing music in Sydney, especially after the strict lockout laws that held back late-night venues and club culture since 2014 were lifted. With those laws gone, there’s a fresh energy in the electronic music scene, spurred on by the artists pushing the scene forward and the venues and community spaces helping it grow and thrive.
Check out all the sets from the Sydney show here and stay tuned for more from the Miller Mix world tour, where we explore underrepresented music scenes and communities around the globe. Subscribe now and don’t miss out!
