Dziady to nazwa ludowego obrzędu zadusznego wywodzącego się z dawnej kultury Słowian. Od zarania dziejów obcowanie z duszami zmarłych odgrywało ważną rolę w życiu ludzi zamieszkujących nasze ziemie i po dziś dzień celebrowanie Święta Zmarłych czerpie tradycje ze święta obchodzonego przez naszych przodków. Celem obrzędu Dziadów było ugoszczenie dusz, zapewnienie sobie ich przychylności oraz udzielenie im pomocy w osiągnięciu wiecznego szczęścia.

There will be an opportunity to see and buy handicrafts made by members of the Utgard reconstruction group.

Dziady is the name of a folk all-soul rite derived from the ancient culture of the Slavs. From the dawn of history, communing with the souls of the dead played an important role in the lives of people living in our lands, and until today the celebration of the Feast of the Dead draws traditions from the holiday celebrated by our ancestors. The purpose of the Grandfathers' rite was to entertain souls, secure their favor and help them achieve eternal happiness.
