Labor reveals upskill program for tradies to build more homes

Labor has pledged $78 million for skilled tradies to have their qualifications fast-tracked in an effort to build more new homes.

The new program will fill in any gaps within a participant’s skill set for free through individualised courses at TAFE or other training organisations.

The initiative will help the government achieve their target of more than a million new homes built in the next five years.
