Every year or so, I gather up the 3D printers I’ve tested, reviewed, and evaluated and send them off to a good home, a local makerspace that puts them to excellent use. In this video, I walk you through this year’s donation batch, which includes two resin printers, two wash stations, and a pile of accessories. I also share some footage of the last donation round you might have missed.

Why do I do this? It’s simple. These machines help teach real-world maker skills like 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC work to students and hobbyists. It also keeps me from hoarding hardware and gives vendors another way to make a lasting impact on the community.

If you’ve got tools you’re no longer using, or if you’re upgrading your setup, consider reaching out to your local makerspace. You might be surprised how much of a difference your old gear can make.

Watch to see how these donations work, who benefits, and why I think it’s one of the best parts of this whole tech-review gig.
