In July, another court hearing took place where the results of the reexamination at the crime scene were announced, proving Onur Obüt's 100% guilt.Witnesses confirming that the perpetrator took the dashboard camera that was recording at the time of the accident have still not been questioned in court and did not appear at the latest hearing.
Despite the collected evidence establishing Onur Obüt's guilt, the court lifted his travel ban as a restrictive measure.
Our Turkish lawyer, Ali Shan, filed an appeal against the lifting of the restrictive measure.
Additionally, I submitted an appeal to the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on International Affairs, requesting assistance and oversight from the Russian Federation.
The next hearing will take place in November this year. We hope the witnesses will appear in court, testify, and that the court will reach a fair decision.
