Let's set up a simple workflow that lets us create hihat lines that are alive & contain movement. We can do this in any DAW using any tools, but in my case it's Ableton Live, using a VST drum machine (D16 Amazon), and two analog drum machines (Some Pulsar23 and Nord Drum 3). The techno composition possibilities are actually endless.
