Same day report of the harrowing Boeing 737 crash into the 14th Street Bridge. Of the 79 people aboard, four passengers and one member of the flight crew were rescued from the icy Potomac River. Another passenger, Arland D. Williams, selflessly helped the other passengers escape the sinking plane before he himself drowned. The bridge was later named in Williams' honor.
