After pioneering the genre more than two decades ago, the Venezuelan producer and DJ is finally getting recognition for his contributions to the electronic world.

Born in the barrios of Caracas in the early '00s, raptor house is a reflection of its complex mother city: intense, frenetic and unequivocally alive. Derived from Afro-Venezuelan percussion and '90s techno, raptor house snowballed into a booming rave subculture that accurately and lovingly captured life in the ghetto.
