Alston had a brief solo career starting in 1988, and released four albums between 1988 and 1994. His singles were: 'Take Me Where You Want To', 'Slow Motion', and 'You Laid Your Love On Me'. He rejoined The Manhattans in 1995 and have been enjoying new found success, performing nationally and around the world.
