🫧Wash Your Fursuit🫧If bathing and doing laundry are a part of our normal routine, so should washing your fursuit. Jumping around and sweating will cause bacteria to build up in the fabric and the thing to do to keep it from getting stinky is to 🫧wash it🫧
You can use a washing machine or a tub with your favorite liquid detergent using the cold setting! Specialied detergents are not necessary as fake fur fibers are made out of plastic, not wool.
⚠️Avoid using pod detergents as they don’t always dissolve completely and may stick to or even stain your fur⚠️
⛔️Do not use hot water or a dryer, as heat will fry the fake fur fibers and will ruin your suit!⛔️
And last but not least, make sure to always air dry fake fur! I'd give it roughly 12 hours to overnight to fully dry, depending on how well ventilated your drying space is!
If you choose to air dry your suit outside, make sure to keep it out of the sun to prevent sun bleaching!
