Rishi Sunak says he would allow another Scottish referendum but stopped short of saying it would be anytime soon and remains "focused on defending the union." He was speaking alongside his leadership rival Liz Truss at his seventh hustings event which was hosted in Scotland. In regards to the cost of living crisis, Truss told STV's hustings host Colin Mackay that she would tackle the energy supply issue, and would "support the less well off" but did not go into any detail as to what her budget would be.
