Javi Lier, is a DJ, promoter, and curator originally from Galicia and based in Madrid since 2015. He is the co-founder of Ego-Trip, a collective, record label, and event series launched in 2018. Over the past seven years, Ego-Trip has become a key player in Madrid’s underground scene, consistently delivering high-quality, forward-thinking events that showcase both national and international talent.

Deeply immersed in the Spanish electronic music circuit, Javi Lier has brought his dynamic and versatile sound to some of the country's top venues, including Razzmatazz, Lanna Club, Laut Barcelona, Studio 76, and LA2 Sevilla. His reach also extends beyond Spain, having delivered mixes for renowned international radio platforms such as Kiosk Radio, Refuge Worldwide, and Future Intel.

Rooted in the foundations of electronic music—ranging from Chicago House to Detroit Techno—Javi’s sets blend styles freely, guided by rhythm and atmosphere rather than strict genres. UK influences like bass, dubstep, and drum & bass are staples in his selection, alongside deeper textures like dub techno, all seamlessly woven with elements from hip-hop, dub or trip-hop, resulting in rich, unexpected journeys on the dancefloor.

In 2025, Javi launched Proper Balance, a new project set to function as both a record label and creative platform, further expanding his commitment to pushing underground electronic music forward.
