The structure known as Color Theory only activates in snowfall. The cold isn’t atmospheric, it’s functional. Without the snow, the system overheats within minutes. When active, the long central arch emits a sustained magnetic field that manipulates airborne particles in the surrounding fog and snow. As the arch calibrates, lights beneath the structure shift between pink, blue, and red, each hue corresponding to a distinct presence detected in the particles themselves, some chemical, others environmental. Over time, researchers determined that the structure was once part of a broader atmospheric analysis system, designed to read the emotional and biochemical state of populations during periods of extreme climate stress. The system was never decommissioned, it simply went quiet when the snow stopped. Now, whenever the right conditions return, Color Theory resumes its scanning silently, doing exactly what it was built to do.
