One of the most difficult concepts for drummers, is to conceive playing the full "sustain" of the notes. A percussion instrument (other than piano and vibes) does not have the ability to play the sustain of the notes. In this lesson, the concept of understanding, hearing and executing the full "sustain" of the notes, is discussed. This is the principal concept behind playing the brushes on the drums and key to developing your feel.
