Singapore says it is fully committed to working with all countries and partners to develop alternative energy solutions and finance the climate transition. Sustainability and the Environment Minister Grace Fu delivered Singapore's national statement at the 29th UN Climate Change Conference. Ms Fu adds Singapore is mobilising private capital to support transition projects in Asia. Earlier in the day, Ms Fu also signed a deal to collaborate with Zambia on carbon credits. It will allow Singapore businesses to purchase carbon credits to offset their emissions. Both countries will also share expertise and knowledge to speed up their low-carbon transition.
