Hi there ,This is a 3.7volt li ion and li polymer battery charger with 5v booster. This is from esclabs and it is based on ip5306. We can connect 3.7v batteries to this two connection points , near to battery we have the 5v out points. There is a small button on the board to control the output. We can slso connect a external button to these points. These for LEDs will indicate the battery percentage also it will indicate the charging . Here i have connected a 3.7v batery and output to my multimeter. Just press the button to turn on the output and double press to turn off. It can output maximum of 2 ampere's. You can see the charging also. This module is perfect for your projects.
