On XMas eve my 83 year old father was admitted to the hospital with an infection and with pneumonia.He spent 4 days in the hospital and is now at home on the mend.
While I have a good relationship with him now it was something I made a conscious effort to mend, with the real healing taking place about five years ago.
With his brush with mortality and subsequent initial recovery I was reminded of how, in the past, I hadn't always been so loving, and I am now embarrassed that I ever felt anything but love and respect for this great man.
I hope this journey though my life helps you in some way, somehow.
