About Skin & Bone

Skin & Bone is the second single off our EP, Patience. This song isn't a traditional single because it doesn't have a catchy chorus and is instrumental for the most part. That's what I wanted.

The lyrics are a dark romantic love song from one lover to another, sharing his thoughts prior to a romantic encounter.

Stylistically I wanted this song to be a mix of Interpol meets Jim Morrison's Ghost Song on American Prayer.

The Dead Electrics features otherworldly synths and a beautifully dreadful buzz of electricity. The Southwest Texas-based band finds its influence in late 60’s classic rock, with a taste of 80’s post-punk and early 90’s alternative.
