Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell discusses the government possibly looking at introducing subsidies for households using solar energy.

“This is Nine newspaper’s story saying there’s a plan for maybe a subsidy for solar panels of $1,000 coming from government and Opposition,” Mr Clennell said.

“I’ve heard the Nationals are keen on this.

“It might be a race to announce this policy now because Finance Minister Katy Gallagher didn’t rule it out.”
