When shopping for a new tv here are some things to look out for:

Resolution: Want to make sure it supports at least 4k so that you can get the best quality when watching or gaming

Display Tech: OLED displays are beautiful but they are susceptible to burn in, so if you dont want to worry about this go LED instead.

Operating System: Honestly this is an underrated thing to look for. I hate TVs that are expensive but have a terrible and slow user interface/operating system.

Bonus: For gaming make sure to get a TV that supports HDMI 2.1 and has 120hz refresh rate!
