For more than four decades, Andy Fletcher stood as a foundational pillar of Depeche Mode, a band that shaped electronic music and left an indelible mark on generations of fans. While he wasn’t the lead vocalist or primary songwriter, Fletcher’s presence was irreplaceable—he was the band’s anchor, its steadying force, and often, its diplomatic bridge.
