In the fourth episode of Egil's Saga (Chapters 31-41) we learn of Egil Skallagrimsson's older brother Thorolf Skallagrimsson and his friendship with Erik Bloodaxe, son of King Harald Fairhair. We also learn of young Egil's temper and his tense relationship with his father. Reading from the 1893 translation by WC Green which is in the public domain. This story was first written down in Iceland in 1240 AD by "Anonymous" but many people believe it to be the work of Snorri Sturluson.
Narration, original music and black and white film (shot in Iceland and Norway) by me, Ulf Crow.
