In Norse mythology, Skaði is the goddess of winter and a huntress with a bow. The name comes from the Proto-Indo-European root: *ska-, *sak-, or *skad/skid- meaning "cut, split in two, wound, damage, hurt".
She was the daughter of the giant Þjazi, and when he was killed by the Æsir, Skaði went to Asgard seeking revenge. Afraid to face the goddess of winter, Odin offered Skaði to turn her father's eyes into stars and marry a god. The only condition imposed was that he had to choose a partner just by looking at the feet of the candidates. She hoped to choose Baldr, but she missed the mark and chose Njörðr, a god of the sea. They weren't made for each other and eventually broke up

Lyrics:

Im keeping my winter rage,
there in the gloomy storm,
this ancient land screams my name

The shadow is finding the way
the echoes of bright days are dead
why can't i just walk away?

The shadow now is my friend,
it will not let me escape,
it will not fade away
