One of the many regulars at the bi-monthly DustCar compos happening in the community, char is a magician of pony emotion and proves it with a S03E05 "Magic Duel"-themed nostalgic beauty paying much tribute to the great and powerful pony we so loved to see again...

This nostalgia-filled musical endeavor was inspired by SGaP's works as explained in the description of the original upload on YouTube, and I can't help noticing that the name of the beloved maestro is extra fitting for this Trixie-themed release. Making wonderful use of vocal samples from "Magic Duel" and chopping them, char is not only acing the story-telling but the pony emotion as well, with Trixie's voice filling our hearts with glee. The track is starring Twilight as well just like in the episode, and the musician imbued some more Twilight character depth in the song as you will be able to read from the original description! And I sure noticed that part of Twilight too! But even more than that, Pinkie vocal chops are there for some more energy and emotion along the sick underground beats. Just as we get entranced by the nostalgia and the flow of the episode through the music, the progression of the track gives rise to emotional Jazz vibes and we continue along the ride for more magic. How that last sampled Trixie line ends so abruptly and gives way to the outro, is emotional in itself, and it seems like Trixie tracks in particular tend to be quite emotional for me for some reason (see Omnipony's track "Return"). The myriad of emotions and musical wonders in "Trixien't" is certainly a feast, and along all the intents behind this track, it's another token of wonderful pony fan works in the community to this day. From the latest completed DustCar race themed about "Humans and Equestria", I also highly recommend "Candy Yunagi - Equestrian Paradise" and "Avery - What is This Place" that are about traveling to Equestria and that encompass many brony feelings we share. You can find them along many other pony songs made for the compo, as audio files directly from the dedicated chatrooms of the compos in DustCar's Discord server (those are from the 10th compo, and there's a pinned message in the chatroom for easier access). Yeah, I just had to make something special for this one!! Especially after the visuals that char made for their own upload of the song! Nothing beats show scenes, but I hope that I could provide some atmosphere with that intro, and most importantly, pay tribute to Trixie by using and sharing all of those awesome fanarts and wallpapers that I always keep in handy in my DeviantArt favorites!! And I couldn't resist doing another "eyes shot"! It's been a minute!
