Hello everyone! Over the years and even more recently, I have received questions from students online (as well as in person) concerning music theory. I wanted to continue the lessons on shakers and the cajon by taking the scenic route and reviewing some music theory. Learning basic theory (Western concepts/perspective of it) as it pertains to rhythm can help when it comes to counting; knowing where you are in a song.
