Here is a comprehensive chase of the UP LOG41R Paramount Local from Mead Yard in Long Beach to Paramount, CA.

We begin watching the switching movements at Mead as the local builds its train, then proceeds up the San Pedro Subdivision main line to Paramount. With Paramount Petroleum recently closing down, the 41R's furthest industry is now Jankovich, which received one tank car. The local then pulls down to serve a recycling industry, then runs around the train to shove to Ganahl Lumber in Lakewood, right by the Long Beach Airport, with some street running within the facility.

With its lumber work complete, the train proceeds north to drop off tank cars at Tesoro by the Rioco siding in North Long Beach, then makes the final shove to Manuel Pass to set out its pickups. The power returns lite to Mead Yard, where the engines will tie down. EMD GP38 pair UP 660 and UP 609, complete with graffiti, make up power for today's train. Thanks for watching!
