Compressed air systems often have very poor energy efficiency. This presentation from Murray Nottle of the Carnot Group outlines a number of effect heat recovery projects for compressed air systems and Front End Engineering Design (FEED).
The presentation was part of a webinar on 1 June 2022 from the Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) in which we explored recent developments in technologies that enable heat and energy recovery or more cost effective utilisation of waste heat.
Our other presenters provided insights on the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) power generation, energy efficiency and heat recovery technologies and heat recovery in ammonia refrigeration plants.
