This isn't a typical hiking video, more of a combination of a music compilation video and hiking video with some looping videos.
Basically, I wanted to highlight some music that gets me in the mood and makes me feel nostalgic for the mountains and forests, so I paired the music with a recent hike I did and this is the end result. You will see a lot of looping videos in this as I didn't film enough and needed to extend the video in order for the music to fit in.
As for the hike, the trail is a beautifully peaceful one that mainly follows the middle fork of the Snoqualmie River. Though the beginning of the hike is by far the coolest and most picturesque, the trail still has plenty to offer as it wanders through the mainly second growth forest, past a fairly large recent landslide and if you look hard enough, a few remaining old growth trees. It's not the most epic or beautiful hikes you'll do, but if you take your time to slow down and appreciate the forest, it'll always give you something worthwhile.
And as for the music, if you've watched any of my videos, then the type of songs will be of no surprise. It's a mix of pagan folk and atmospheric black metal from four fantastic bands. If you like what you hear, their bandcamp links are below.
