UK Israeli ambassador: 'We were expecting this type of retaliation'

Israeli ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely, has given her reaction to the retaliatory strikes by Iran.

She said: "We were definitely expecting this type of retaliation," before adding that Israel's aim "is to make sure Iran won't have nuclear capabilities."

It comes after Israel defended what it called "pre-emptive strikes" on military and nuclear targets in Iran.
