Rex, Alice Cooper etc. Fueron fuerte influencia para muchas bandas de Glam Metal y de Punk que vendrían algunos años mas adelante, popularizaron el hecho de escribir deliberadamente mal los nombres de las canciones. Reconocidos mundialmente por éxitos como Mama Weer All Crazee Now y sobretodo por Cum On Feel The Noize, canciones que la agrupación de Glam Metal Quiet Riot versionaría una década mas tarde y que las haría aún más populares.
