오늘은 우리가 늘 쓰는 시간 표현을 같이 연습할게요

몇시예요?
What time is it? / What time is it right now?
It's 9:40. (PM)
It's twenty (a quarter / ten / five) to ten.
It's 9:45 ( = It's a quarter to ten. )
It's 10:15 ( = It's a quarter after ten. )
It's 10:30 ( = It's half past ten. )

그알 몇 시에 시작해?
What time does the show start? / What time does it start?
It starts at 11:00. /

What's the date today?
It's June 25th.
그 영화 언제 개봉해?
When does the movie come out?
It comes out on July fourth.
- come out ( = be released )

네 비행기 언제 도착해?
When does your flight(plane) arrive? (When do you arrive at the airport?)
( = When is your flight(plane) arriving? )

6월 30일 오후 8시에 도착해요.
It's arriving (It arrives) on June 30th at 8 PM.
I'm arriving (I arrive) on June 30th at 8PM.
- (I'm arriving / I arrive / It's arriving / It arrives) in five days (five days from now)

My flight is arriving in five days, on June 30th at 8PM.

I'm going to Santorini in 3 days.
The conference will be held in 75 days.
( in two and a half months / two and a half months(먼쓰) from now )
*두 시간 반 : two and a half hours
* 한 시간 반 : one and a half hours [ 워내느 - 햅 ]
an hour and a half [ 으 - 나월 - 애느 - 햅 ]

- 30분 = half an hour

When did you eat dinner?
I had dinner at around 7 o'clock.
I had dinner about three and a half hours ago.
한 3시간 정도 됐어요.
It's been about 3 hours.
It's been about an hour.

"와! 진짜 오랜만이다!"
- It's been a really long time! / It's been so long!

언제 결혼했어요?
- When did you get married?
It's about 35 years.

I got married in 2007, so it's been about 15 years.

* 반년 - half a year (six months)

When did you leave your job?

It's been a few hours since I got home from work.

It's been 9 years since I lived in Vietnam.
- It's been 9 years since I came to Vietnam.

I've been living in Gwangju since 2014, so it's been about 8 years.
