An important part of overcoming OCD is learning to accept imperfection! So, here is a gentle reminder that whatever it is that you're struggling with right now, it doesn't have to be perfect.

Sometimes you just need someone to give you permission. If that’s what you need right now, here it is!

Whatever you’re worried about perfecting at the moment—a task at work, a conversation with a friend, a project at home—it doesn’t have to be perfect! None of us are perfect, and trying to be perfect in everything only leads to anxiety and disappointment.

A little imperfection is what makes us human. So whatever you’re trying to perfect at the moment, give yourself permission to make it imperfect. Maybe even do something imperfect on purpose! You’ll be surprised at how free you feel afterward.
