I have been a fan of The Bevis Frond since hearing them on Mark Radcliffe's excellent "Out On Blue Six" show on BBC Radio 1 back in the 1990s. It was an honour to finally see the band in action. Frontman and prolific songsmith Nick Saloman is a force of nature. He writes artful music and lyrics at such a prodigious rate that it seems effortless, but Nick shared with the crowd that more than half of his output ends up in the bin. The 2024 album, Focus on Nature, is a banger. If you don't know it, check it out. I bought it on vinyl.
