Les Marquises is :
Emilie Škrijelj : accordion-fx-turntable
Tom Malmendier : drums

This weird two heads trio met at the end of winter 2019, during a residency which created the first sounds of the quartet « Nuits ». That was the very beginning of something huge for Tom and Emilie.
When they began to play together, Jacques Brel was always somewhere around, singing some words of a song.
So, in a (strange) way, « Les Marquises » can be seen as a sort of tribute band.
The duo visited the on monday 21st of October 2019 to record 2 tracks for White Noise Sessions and to record some more.

These recordings will be released on a new album in january 2020,
on the brand new label « Eux Sèment ».
