castricum forests - 24th of october 2024this was so fun to do! i was actually feeling pretty sick the day i planned to record, but it was one of those perfect, ‘end-of-summer’ days with clear blue skies, so i had to get out there.
i wandered through the forest with my gear, looking for some spots to record, and stumbled onto this little hill with a road circling around it. the view of the valley from up here was unreal, and people wandering about would occasionally spot me on the hill, probably wondering what i was up to. i wasn’t sure if this was a legal spot to record, so i kept an eye out for rangers—and there were a few around!
