Synopsis:
The story follows the adventures of a nobody, Luo Heng (played by Wang Ning), who transcends a millennium and experiences fifteen different occupational identities, encountering seven different flavors of life. Despite this, he never forgets his initial dreams. The film narrates humorous stories that occur in his pursuit of these dreams. From beggar, emperor, eunuch to insurance agent, pyramid seller, mourner, Eighth Route Army soldier, Japanese soldier, Shanghai gangster, and more, he tastes various completely different aspects of life, facing pain, slander, horror, deceit, betrayal, as well as warmth and love.
