German lawmakers are considering to initiate ban proceedings against the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party ahead of the upcoming elections. According to Die Zeit, the German parliament could begin discussing a motion to ban AfD for allegedly running an agenda to counter the constitution and democracy in the country. AfD is currently polling around 20%, ahead of Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s center-left Social Democratic Party (SPD) at 16%. Meanwhile, Elon Musk also openly endorsed AfD's Weidel as the next German Chancellor. He had said that only right-wing party can "save Germany." Watch
