Ugly Betty actor Eric Mabius was arrested for battery in Florida on Thursday morning with a shock mugshot showing the star's battered face. Mabius, 53, was booked into the Nassau County Jail and Detention Center just before 6am and faces two misdemeanor charges, battery and resisting an officer without violence, per TMZ. The mugshot showed the near-unrecognizable star looking dazed, with what appeared to be a cut and purple bruise by his right eye, while clad in a prison jumpsuit. DailyMail.com has contacted a representative for Mabius for comment. Mabius is best known for his role as Mode fashion editor Daniel Meade on Ugly Betty alongside America Ferrera. The show ran from 2006-2010. Ugly Betty was an American comedy-drama about Betty Suarez who lands a job at a prestigious high fashion magazine despite her lack of style and physical appearance.
