At the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, observers noticed that Catherine, Princess of Wales was paying homage to Diana, Princess of Wales by wearing a pair of diamond and pearl earrings gifted to the late princess by Prince Charles ahead of their wedding in 1981. The South-Sea Pearl Earrings were worn by Princess Diana at several public events. Here, Diana can be seen wearing them at a state banquet held in honour of the Prince and Princess of Wales during their tour of South Korea on 3 November 1992. Also featured in this footage is South Korean President Roh Tae-woo and his wife Kim Ok-suk.
