The wild man of rock'n'roll, Jerry Lee Lewis - from the beginning.
He made his first public appearance when he was fourteen years old and enrolled in Bible School the following year, 1950
In November 1956 he joined Sun Records and a month later jammed in the legendary Million Dollar Quartet with, Elvis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash.
He soon became one of the greatest stars in rock'n'roll but it all came crashing down when he went over to the UK for his first British tour in 1958. When the British fans discovered that he was married to his cousin's 13 year -old daughter, Myra Gale, they deserted him in their droves. His American fans soon followed suit.
His rock and roll career was in tatters but he reinvented himself as a very successful country music artist, with over 50 Billboard Top-40 Country hits.
