A curious passerby approached and noticed she only had one leg. The girl revealed that she lost her leg due to cancer. She's 19 and was diagnosed 3 years ago. The cancer has spread to her lungs. And she likely don't have long to live.
Pitying her, the man offered to buy all her flowers under one condition, he'd like to draw her as he's an artist. He wants to give her a painting. She agreed but told him to buy only what he needed.
Her parents left her as an infant. Her mother stayed until she was one but left as well. She was raised by her grandmother. She's very positive. Doesn't blame her parents at all, believing they had their own reasons.
Even though she only had one leg she's just happy to be able to have twice the amount of socks to wear. When the painting was done, the man showed it to her and even framed it for her. She loved it.
But when he went to pay , instead of $150, he paid her $50k in local currency instead. The amount is one person's annual salary for the area. It was enough to cover her medical fees for 5 months. She was extremely grateful.
She planned on sharing the money with her friends who are also sick and may need the money more than her.
