It's also kind of cool since I've been learning from you. I think it was very nebulous for me, and probably a lot of other people. And it's really cool how you explain it because it's very accessible to someone who doesn't know anything. I really appreciate that and that's awesome. Kind of like you said, it's like a magic trick, but in my mind, initially, it was just like - which is true to a certain degree - people have this talent, but in my mind, it was just like there are no rules or guidelines. You can't learn this stuff, you're born with it. You're defying that, saying "no, you can." It's really cool, it's like this secret hidden... revealing what's behind the curtain a little bit, right? It seems like a formula, right? You follow this formula, and if you know it and I know it, we can jam. But I thought it was magic earlier, when people were just doing it. Are they just improving? Which they are, but they're following this backbone. Even that formula, if you're in key or not. When you hit a note out of key, it doesn't sound good. Like you said, you can play anything - as long as you're in key - and the worse you're gonna sound is okay. Which is really cool. In my mind I just thought it was magic, and very unobtainable. And don't get me wrong, it's [probably] years and years of conscious hard work, but, it's almost like you don't have to be born with it. No. Which is really cool. Like you could actually learn some of this, and if you understand the theory. But it's a mountain. Bravo, bravo...
