I'm out here being my weird self.. whats up? :)

I got some new blue nail polish and was excited to try it out. Then I had to wait for it to dry so I challenged myself to make a beat before it finished drying. Only took 45 minutes! Not bad for a full song!

Btw I built this music program! You can check it out here:

Shout out to Ben Nobuto. I just stumbled upon his music from the video "Gen Z's Splice-Sampling Visionary" and it inspired me to make something shortly after. Something about the mix of real classical instruments and sound fx sampling sounds really nice.

Also shout out to the xenharmonic alliance discord that inspired me to push my rhythm skills farther in this video. I'm excited to do more xenrhythm in the future!

The rhythm in this video is mainly based around 6/4 with an irregular loop of 90 16th notes instead of 96. This gives it a sort of flip flopping effect where the snare which is just 6/4 overlaps differently each time. The rest got crazy as I added in a variety of different loop lengths and just played it by ear.

Here is the microtonal scale:
10: 2 576Hz
9: 1.870968 538.8387Hz
8: 1.64 472.32Hz
7: 1.535714 442.2857Hz
6: 1.483871 427.3549Hz
5: 1.391304 400.6956Hz
4: 1.346154 387.6923Hz
3: 1.259259 362.6667Hz
2: 1.178571 339.4286Hz
1: 1.142857 329.1429Hz
0: 1 288Hz

Beat DJ was a little glitchy because I'm working in the development version but miraculously the recording turned out fine!

00:00 - making the song
37:50 - the final recording
