The chorus echoes a reassuring message from my childhood—have no fear—a phrase my parents used to tell me. It’s a reminder to hold onto that sense of hope and courage, even when everything feels like it's falling apart.

This song is about finding the right person after many failed relationships. The universe brings you together to show you why it never worked with anyone else. I wanted to capture the incredible feeling of falling in love with your forever person.

This song is about living your life, continuing to do ‘real’ ‘normal things’ and moving on although there is sadness from loss of a relationship. The river represents the feelings of love and care for someone now distant. You can still see, hear and feel them constant and consistent, but you can’t stem the flow, reach out or go back to how things used to be. Sometimes it’s healthy to acknowledge the human nature of wanting to go back but knowing you have to move on. Moments of weakness are inevitable.
