Flávio Cesar runs “Alive Pop-Up,” a Brazilian vinyl store that brings records to various locations and events across Rio de Janeiro. For over a decade, he has played a key role in popularizing vinyl culture at carioca events, earning strong support from the local music community.

Over the years, Brazilian popular music has expanded beyond its southeastern roots, embracing influences from previously disconnected genres. This set highlights the growing presence of northeastern percussion, the rise of new DJs producing fresh tracks, and the resurgence of Brazilian instrumental groups.
